The FCX U16 Black 1 and FCX U18 Black 1 coached by Director of Coaching, Stuart Peek, both went unbeaten and won the SLSG College Showcase event this weekend in their age groups.

Peek said, "Both teams came in to the weekend knowing they were playing
in the top bracket, and would need to bring their top games to compete"
The 16s beat Lou Fusz 2-0, Michigan Alliance 4-0 and Northshore United 2-0.
The 18s beat Ohio Premier 2-0, Northshore United 5-0 and in what Peek described as the best game the girls have ever played, beat SLSG ECNL team 1-0.

said, "Both teams played attractive, attacking soccer, and scored some
world class goals, and the fact that neither conceded a goal, also
points to the defensive work that was done in all games. I could not be
more proud of both sets of players this weekend. They have both worked
hard to get to this point, and I have no doubt they will continue to
achieve even more, we have proven once again, we are a regional level
club."
