New Spring Soccer Reminders

  • Spring Soccer is finally here. We are excited to get started. There is a lot of important information in this post, please review carefully.

Many teams are beginning their team practices the week of March 20.  If you have not heard from your coach, please contact Director of Coaching, Mark Gavin at [email protected] or NSC Registrar, Traci Froehlich at [email protected].

Please complete and send with your player to the first practice a signed copy of the ISA approved Medical Release form (link opens in a new window).  Each team will have a binder where the coaches will keep the medical release form.  We will need 2 copies of this form. One for your team coach and one for the Coerver Iowa coaches.

All players much wear shin guards to practices and games. Cleats are not required but encouraged, especially with the potential wet Spring weather.

If you are new to Norwalk Soccer Club, please visit Soccer Master in Urbandale for your uniform. Do this as soon as you can. If you wait until 2-3 days before the first game, they may not have your size in stock!

You can also order online at :

This works best on a desktop or laptop computer.

Click on the Norwalk Soccer Club logo, agree to the terms and then select your sizes. Your Personalization Number is the uniform number.

Please have your player bring a pumped up ball of the proper size to each practice. The best way for our kids to enjoy the game and improve their skills is by getting a lot of touches on the soccer ball. You can buy a ball for $10-15 at most sporting goods stores.

    Ball Sizes

    7U-8U - Size 3

    9U-12U - Size 4

    13U and up - Size 5
